Leanne Meyer-Smith, AIA
Principal/Licensed Architect/
LEED Accredited Professional

With more than 20 years of extensive experience that ranges from building design, facility analysis, and master planning to construction administration and project management, Leanne Meyer-Smith applies her unique skills to both new construction and renovation work for educational, municipal, religious, and commercial clients.

While most of her classmates in eighth grade were writing book reports, Leanne was actually building “The House of Seven Gables.” After completing this early and ambitious project, she proudly announced to her parents that she was going to become an architect one day. “That was over 30 years ago, and since that day I have never looked back,” Leanne says. “Architecture is more than a career for me, it is a passion. That is how I approach every one of my projects.”

Her projects even extend to volunteer work overseas. Leanne has traveled to Haiti to review the construction of a Catholic church she designed for the sister parish of her church. “It’s very fulfilling to be able to be of support to the people of this Haitian village,” she says. “In fact, a health care center for their village is on the drawing board for the near future.”

It’s this type of personal commitment that Leanne displays in projects closer to home as well. “As the Architect for your project, I am responsible for making your vision become a successful reality,” she says. “I have to know the details inside and out. To that end, I make a commitment to provide you with leadership in a participatory process dedicated to bringing quality, long-lasting, and sustainable solutions to your building needs.”

As a LEED accredited professional who recognizes the benefits of “Green Design,” Leanne is adept in designing and renovating buildings with the future in mind. “In taking an innovative approach to architecture, and incorporating new methods and materials in our work, we are able to provide our clients with designs whose strength and efficiency deliver lasting promise.”
