Located at 1500 South Michigan Avenue in downtown Chicago, the new School and Parish Center at Old St. Mary's Parish will provide this community with a wonderful environment to teach, learn, and grow.
The facility will include instructional spaces, two parish halls, music and art rooms, a library, and a technology center. The spaces will be used by all, young and old, and will strengthen their Christian involvement and unity.
We are also excited to note that this facility will be a "green" building! To the extent possible, the design will follow the guidelines of the United States Green Building Council and will be LEED (Leadership in Energy Efficient Design) Certified. At this point in time, our goal is to obtain a LEED "Silver" rating.
